Emerald Lake Hike
I took this photograph while hiking around Emerald Lake in October of 2025
I've always loved the color of these Canadian Rockies Lakes. The color comes from copper deposits on the surrounding mountains that the glaciers grind into a fine powder and carry with them during the Spring melt.
